Janet Foxley, OAP (Old Age Poet)
Janet mostly writes novels for children of primary school age, but occasionally she lapses into verse by accident. Sometimes she even writes those short books that you have to read in school and answer questions about. But please don’t blame her if they’re too difficult – she only writes the stories, not the questions.

Her only published poem is ‘The Law with Regard to Smallings’ which appears in her novel Muncle Trogg. It’s on page 102 of the UK edition, if you want to read it in English. (Other languages are available.) While you’re about it, you could read the whole book.
Janet doesn’t do school visits any more because she is an Old Age Pensioner. If you look at her website www.janetfoxley.co.uk you may be able to work out whether or not she is older than your granny. |
