In 2011 Loretta won the Waterstones
'Picture This' competition. The prize -
to illustrate Michael Morpurgo's  Beauty and the Beast.
Thank you to Loretta for sharing her fabulous illustrations with the funeverse. I do think my favourite is the burping monster!

Loretta lives in London with her husband and their irrepressibly confident hamster, Eduardo. She's always loved drawing and is never happier than when she's making something.

Illustrators and writers enter lots of competitions and Loretta won a Waterstones competition in 2011 to illustrate Michael Morporgo's book. You can see Loretta's winning illustrations on her website. Maybe you could have a go at designing a monster and writing a monster poem.
