What’s that you’ve got?
A book? Oh that’s boring.
All those words on a page,
They just leave me snoring.
Everyone knows it,
It’s pure common knowledge,
A dusty old book’s
Like a bowl of cold porridge.

I want adventure. I want to explore,
I want thrills, I want spills
And a big dinosaur.
I want knights, I want dragons
I want pirates with flagons.
I want maps, I want treasure
I want fun, I want pleasure!

I mean what’s it about?

Can I have a look?

Not that I’m bothered, it’s only a book.
