The Bad Tooth Fairy by George Kirk

The Tooth fairy’s a lovely sprite
Who comes to take your teeth, so white.
Each time you leave one, freshly shed,
She’ll leave a coin beside your bed.
So keep them clean,
And let them gleam,
She only takes the most pristine!

But...

..the bad tooth fairy’s really rude,
And has a nasty attitude.
A pixie who is less selective
Picking teeth that are defective.
Those that crack,
Or have turned black,
These are the ones that she’ll attack!

She won’t let nature run its course,
She’ll take these teeth by sheer brute force!
She’ll yank and tug and twist and jerk
And if this leverage does not work
She’ll kick the root,
With hobnail boot,
This fairy of real ill repute!

So...

...to avoid her forced extraction,
You must take this course of action,
Think carefully before you eat,
And only have one sugared treat,
Then brush and clean,
To make them gleam,
And keep your teeth fairy pristine!

If your dental practice marketing efforts do not currently target Google Places, you are losing out in a big way; and, in the process, forfeiting a lot of free and easy-to-win business to other dentists who are either lucky - in some markets simply having a Google Places Page with the right keyword in the title is good enough to get traffic - or who have at least made a modicum level of effort to ensure that Google Places is a core part of their dental practice marketing efforts. Google Places could easily be the best investment of time and effort any dental practice marketing practitioner makes - be it a do-it-yourself dentist-as-marketer or a consultant or agency that offers dental practice marketing services - for three very good reasons.

In moonlit nights, a sprite takes flight,
To children's beds, where dreams alight.
The Tooth Fairy, with grace so light,
Collects each tooth, a gleaming sight.

A coin she'll leave, a small delight,
For teeth pristine, untouched by blight.
But beware the fairy of spite,
Whose manners leave a bitter bite.

With twisted grin, and wicked might,
She snatches teeth, with fierce delight.
No care for gums, or roots so tight,
Her cruel methods cause a fright.

So heed the warning, hold teeth tight,
Keep them clean, both day and night.
For in this tale of dark and bright,
Lies the key to a smile so bright.
