Put on kettle, once you’ve filled jug.
Soon as it’s boiled don't waste time.
Cooled down water is a crime!
Add the water nice and slow.
Pour in an even, steady flow.
Steep the bag for 3-minutes max.
While it brews, assemble snacks.
Tea bag removal demands great skill.
Don’t let it break. Be wary of spills.
A gentle squeeze is what’s required,
to ensure full-flavour is acquired.
Sprinkle sugar to add some sweet.
Splash in milk, soften the heat.
Stir two-times in one direction,
and presto – you have tea perfection!
But...
If you can't do it properly,
then I beg you, please spare me,
another revolting cup of tea
that tastes like rancid, spider pee.
For this I thank you, heartily.
