Bridget Strevens-Marzo is the author and illustrator of big and small picture books, story books, books with flaps, doodle books with games to play in them, books of French and English nursery rhymes, a bookshelf of mini board books and even a bath book. Bridget spent many years in France, where her two bilingual children were born and where she won the SNCF prize for her illustrations to a book about a runaway hippo. Marzo was her Catalan mum’s name, and Strevens (which rhymes with ‘heavens’) her English father’s name. Now she’s happy to be in East London and writing, illustrating - and bicycling - more than ever. |
