Katherine Lynas

Katherine Lynas is one of our funeverse poets, but what she really loves is illustration (shhhh don't tell the others!)

Her style is original and fun and she creates fantastic black and white textures using her current weapon of choice - Uni fineliner pens. The discovery of size 0.005 nibs lead to her adding more detail to her illustrations and a rise in incidents of hand cramp. She lives in a little town by the sea that was once home to smugglers, which is probably why she loves drawing pirates and wavy waves.

In 2014 Katherine won a place in the SCBWI Showcase, a touring exhibition of SCBWI members' illustrations. So far the exhibition has reached as far north as Seven Stories in Newcastle and the Edinburgh Book Festival.
