The Monkey

There was a monkey that could talk,
then he went for a walk.
He slapped his knee,
and went to sea.
He brought back lots of fish,
that he put on a dish.
That were for his master,
that smelt like a plaster.

Lauren I love your talking walking monkey - I love the detail you put in your poem to, I can just see this cheeky monkey slapping his knee!
