who’s lost his teeth and hair.
You said your wigs would help me,
your price was high, but fair.
I ordered one like feathers –
my own hair was like that –
but what you’ve made looks more like
a dressing-up box hat.
All my friends and neighbours
from cauliflower to pea,
from Brussels sprouts to parsnips,
are making fun of me.
I cannot show my face now
beside them in the rack
I look like I’m a daisy –
I WANT MY MONEY BACK!
