That would just be silly.
It’s awfully dark and creepy there,
And cold, so they’d be chilly.
Look underneath, it’s such a mess.
Could they really squash and squeeze
In such a tiny space as that?
Where would they put their knees?
Why would they hide beneath your bed,
At night, so tired and dozy?
When your mattress is as soft as clouds,
Your duvet, warm and cosy.
