a flamingo with knock knees
Flowers that squirt when pinned to your shirt
plus a troupe of performing fleas
And… Mermaid’s legs, the last dodo’s eggs
and lots more mythical marvels
Minotaur pies and slain dragons’ eyes
(that my mum says are marbles)
Werewolf fur, a piece of harpy hair
the claw from a Jabberwock
Wood from the Ark, a prehistoric shark
and the key to Nessie’s loch
A Martian’s sting, a vampire’s ring
(save up so you can buy one)
Bigfoot’s socks, an old music box
that plays the song of a Siren
A bunyip’s tail and a micro whale
that a yeti kept as a pet
A unicorn horn and a hat once worn
by Medusa for a bet…
Jack McGill’s has thrills ’n’ spills
for every boy and girl
So put your phone away
and come and spend the day
at the best toyshop in the world!
